Dr. Patrick was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and spent her childhood in Hockessin, Delaware. She was a competitive figure skater competing at the U.S. National Championships three times, which instilled in her the technical precision and focus crucial in the operating room. Dr. Patrick draws a parallel between the artistry needed on the ice and the surgical expertise and artistry needed in the operating room to generate truly elegant results.

Dr. Patrick pursued her undergraduate studies as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude, and continued her medical education at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her dedication led her to a prestigious residency at Georgetown University Hospital, where she trained for six years in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery under the mentorship of renowned surgeons. During her residency, she was recognized as a gifted surgeon and received the award for the “Most Outstanding Microsurgical Resident.”
